The CDMHA executive passed a motion to amend our policy to include a new year end award, the Valerie Kibsey Memorial award. Val was a huge part of the minor hockey community for many years, and will be sadly missed.
Award Criteria
The Valerie Kibsey Memorial award is presented to a player who demonstrates a positive attitude on and off the ice. A player who has a desire to excel, is self-motivated, shows the most dedication and spirit. Someone who could be depended upon to be present at each and every game or practice. A player who works with the coach and his teammates for the good of the team. Players from all divisions eligible. Written nominations from any minor hockey parent, team player or member.
